I was approached by a girl named Jiali to take up TL chen's service for perfection. She assured me that her firm could do it even though it is not a panel lawyer for the properties. My cousin and I eventually engaged TL Chen in late 2021 on perfection for 3props. The lawyer came to town with the docs for our signing in Jan 2022. He said we will be invoiced later, when asked. I didnt chase hearing from others the paperworks would take time. In Jan 2023, I called the office, but passed to a girl called Namitha, the P.I.C of our cases to checm on the status. She claimed she's a 'lawyer'. Jiali and the lawyer I met left the company. Namitha sounded surprised n said she would check. not hearing fr her, I called the next week, she said they will be ready next month, in feb 2023. Nw in early Oct2023, she called me asking if i appointed tlchen to handle my perfection. I told her the story and she said she would check w the developer. Today, on Oct27, she asked me again if I appointed TLchen to handle my perfection. She said I need to find my panel lawyers. Don't expect Namitha to call you back when she said she will update the next day after checking. She never did.

I told her, "For all the time I wasted w TL chen, make it worthwhile. Tell the developer the client signed the docs w TL chen back in Jan 2022. Nothing has been done, docs been sitting in our office and the client want us to complete it soonest.

Finally, copy of title arrived on May 7, 2025.
Earlier signed docs went missing, and i had to resubmit for their prep, and re-signed, w a new lawyer- Farah.
If one were to expect responsive replies, a step further assistance dealing online w LHDN, or status notifications on deliveries.

The receptionist is unwelcoming and cold. The lawyer who was in charge of my perfection matters was not responsive that I had to call to follow up each time. It turned out that she had resigned and I was not even informed about it. The price is competitive but I wish I had appointed other firm that is more attentive.
