I went to JT Chong to get my translated birth certificate endorsed and Notarized for foreign country PR application.

I called and asked if they do Notaries translated document before going in, and she said yes they do, however after reaching the center a lady attended and check all my document and asked me how much I spent to translate the document and I told her the amount and it was translated at Shah Alam High Court. and endorsed by the court translator, Further more it was non of her business to ask how much i paid.

Then she acted odd and said we don't to notaries translated document and only notaries original birth certificate. IF you are going to notaries a document which is legally required by another country what's the point of me taking the hassle to get it translate in the first place.

Firstly she was not the lawyer and the lawyer never even come to meet me to explain the details, I feel they are either ill informed about this process or mealy careless and waste time.

I finally has to take this document to another Lawyer office in Kota Kemuning and they understood the process and Notarized the document.

Summary don't waste time going here, the lady is rude and thinks she is a lawyer her self.

1) Clearly your staff did not mentioned copy of the translation copy and she was pointing to the copy of Original birth certificate to be notarized.
2) Never once she said i can speak to the lawyer if I am in doubt, she return my document and showed me the way out with a rude tone of voice.
3) The same document was Notarized by another notary public the same day and it was endorse by Malaysian Foreign Ministry Yesterday ( Wish i can post the document here if it was a non sensitive one)
4) Even if you are unable to provide the service, its was just a simple thing, politely decline would have not made me write this review, I don't simply write reviews to put a business or someone down, it was what I saw is what I wrote in the review.

In future its better if the lawyer handles such request and not the staff. Hope this clarifies !
