Sharing my Miserable Experience with this Firm

I engaged Mdm. Evelyn Shoba for assistance with a house legal matter during a tough time. However, my experience with her was extremely disappointing.
Despite charging me a hefty fee of RM 2k just to begin the case(The amount of 2k may seem insignificant, but for me, it represents my hard-earned money and significant effort), she was unable to resolve my issue and instead made matters worse.

Initially, Mdm. Shoba advised me to proceed with legal action to get my ex-partner to pay the arrears on our joint loan and hand over a copy of the house key to me. Mdm. Shoba traveled to Ipoh from Taiping to serve the letter directly and then served the letter by courier and provided me update, this has cost me MYR 2k.
He paid the arrears immediately after receiving the letter from the lawyer and he requested two months time to sell the house instead and refuse to handover the duplicate key.

After a month, I was shocked to receive a text from Mdm. Shoba, informing me about the threats and abusive language used by my ex-partner's brother towards her and me. She expressed being highly stressed out by the situation. She then suggested exploring alternative means to obtain the key from someone. She even proposed involving a male lawyer from another firm to directly communicate with my ex-partner and handle the issuance of letters, considering the abusive nature of my ex-partner and his brother, said that she would remain in the background, focusing on preparing the required documentation and offering guidance throughout the process.

However, I have concerns about the potential additional charges associated with involving another lawyer in the process.

I went to the police station next day to make a report about the threats, worrying my safety and hers too, Mdm. Shoba was unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to back me up and asking "Did I ask you to make a police report", she don't want to report the threats in the first place.
We did argued, I simply wanted to understand why she was reluctant to acknowledge and address the seriousness of the situation she had previously informed me about. To my surprise, she abruptly suggested me to seek another lawyer if I wasn't satisfied with her services. Furthermore, she refused to refund the remaining fees I had paid. The following day, she sent me a withdrawal letter stating that I had accused her and she would no longer proceed with my case. It appeared that she was attempting to disengage from my case without providing any satisfactory answers or resolutions.

Throughout my experience, Mdm. Shoba demonstrated a lack of professionalism, empathy, and expertise. She was unable to resolve my issue, not even close to resolution, she left me out half way, charged me an exorbitant fee, and made me feel unsafe and unsupported.

PS: I have concrete evidence in the form of recorded conversations and text messages that support the details I have mentioned above.

*Kindly do not accept the client if you are not fit to handle the client's case and end up giving up on the case by accusing the client.
