I had a very bad experience with K. Sheela & Associates. They came to Cyberjaya Hospital while I was in the emergency room (red zone). I was badly injured, bleeding, and had broken ribs. Even though I was in pain and not thinking clearly, they asked me to sign some documents.

They told me they were from the government, which was not true. They also recorded me signing the papers while I was still hurt. I didn’t understand what I was signing because I was in a lot of pain.

This was very wrong and not professional. Please be very careful with this company. What they did to me was not fair or right.

I am absolutely disgusted by the predatory tactics employed by this group of lawyers. My close friend was involved in a serious accident and ended up in intensive care, barely conscious and fighting for his life. Instead of focusing on recovery, these so-called “professionals” swooped in like vultures, taking full advantage of his weakened state to coerce him into signing documents that handed over his insurance claim rights to them.
They showed up uninvited at the hospital, pressured him when he was medicated and disoriented, and manipulated the situation to secure their cut of the settlement. It’s clear their priority was lining their pockets, not advocating for the victim. This isn’t legal representation it’s exploitation of the vulnerable at their lowest point.
If you’re dealing with an accident or injury, steer clear of this firm. There are ethical lawyers out there who won’t stoop to such lows. I’ve reported this behavior to the state bar association, and I urge anyone else who’s experienced similar tactics to do the same. Shame on you, you give the profession a bad name.

Extremely unethical firm. A representative from this legal firm showed up completely unsolicited at the ICU while my partner was unconscious and injured from a severe accident. Despite his critical condition and compromised mental state, they coerced him into signing an agreement to appoint them as his legal representatives — all while he was still hospitalized and clearly unable to give informed consent. To make matters worse, they recorded the entire process of him signing it, while he was still disoriented and in pain, just to protect themselves. It was clear he didn’t fully understand what was happening, and yet they pushed it through. We consider this an exploitative and predatory act that crossed every line of decency and professional ethics.

We are currently taking steps to report this firm to the Malaysian Bar Council and relevant legal authorities. This kind of behavior has no place in legal practice and should not happen to any other victim of trauma.

Avoid this firm at all costs.
